A hole in one! CLA Foundation Charity Golf Day a Big Hit Raising Funds for People Living with Disability.
The CLA Foundation recently held its 8th annual charity golf day on Friday October 26 at the Murray Bridge Golf Club.
With over 19 teams and 76 players participating, the event managed to raise close to $13,000 for the CLA Foundation which will be used to support children and adults with disability in the South Australian community through local not-for-profit community group Community Living Australia.
Des Warner, Chairman of the CLA Foundation, said ‘Community Living Australia is a great organisation that provides quality services to people with disability and one that we are particularly proud to partner with and support.
Together whilst enjoying a game of golf and lunch on a beautiful day we managed to raise a decent sum of money for people with disability in our community — if that is not a hole in one, I don’t know what is! Exclaimed Mr Warner.
Mark Kulinski, Chief Executive of Community Living Australia said that, ‘we are truly grateful for the ongoing support of the CLA Foundation and our local community in the important work we do to support people living with disability. The money raised will make a real difference in people’s lives and will help us to support them in increasing their independence, developing their skills and achieving their goals.’
Mr. Warner thanked all involved for another successful golf day whilst also congratulating the winning team.
