Community Living Australia had the immense privilege of hosting Strathalbyn’s annual ‘Christmas Where the Angas Flows’ Christmas Pageant for the second time.
The pageant was well attended with many locals, visitors, and tourists alike taking the opportunity to enjoy the festivities and strong sense of community spirit.
This year many of our Community Living Australia clients played a key role in ensuring the event ran smoothly – being marshals at the event and providing support to all of the pageant participants. We also had many clients participate in our own Drummer Boy float, thoroughly enjoying being part of the community event.
“We are really pleased to have had the opportunity to host the Strathalbyn Christmas Pageant this year” said Mark Kulinski, Chief Executive.
“It is a great opportunity for us to host this wonderful community event, enabling us to positively impact and support our community and to demonstrate the valuable roles people with disability can and do play in our community,” he added.
Congratulations goes out to the Strathalbyn Lutheran Church who was awarded with the prize of best float, as well as to all of the other floats who put in a lot of effort and looked fantastic on the night. A big thank you to everyone who volunteered to make this event happen – especially our clients and staff, and we hope to see you all again next year.
