My name is Paul Chaplin. Painting has always been a passion for me from the earliest days that I can remember.
My favourite thing to paint is Australian landscapes with oil paint on canvas. I enjoy interpreting the variety of shapes, shades and spectrum of earthy colours.
I have never let my disability dampen my creativity but instead it enhances my creativity. I hope people enjoy my paintings as much as I do.
Daniel Clark
I have autism. I have always lived in a house where home sewing was a part of life.
When I was a young man I went to TAFE and studied sewing garments, and over the past 10 years, I have begun doing a lot of patchwork and quilting.
I mostly make small quilts and donate approximately 20-30 a year to the chairity Life in a Bag.
I always feel good when I am working on a project. Sewing is my happy place.
Stacey James
I thought in 2009 my life was over, instead it was just starting a new book.
I experienced an aneurysm, then a stroke, but I awoke after my operation/coma finding I was still here to see another day & for that I was eternally grateful regardless of the dramatic forever changes.
In even luckier events, I kept my left side and being originally left-handed that helped me emotionally and I became an even better artist since the brain bleed.
Samantha Lee
I suffer severe PTSD, depression and suicidal ideation on occasion as a result of domestic violence. I paint to not think! I can escape in painting. I support art as therapy, I would not be here today without it!
Charyis McKenzie
